Terms of Use

By accessing or using ATS Resume Craft (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all users, including free and paid subscribers. If you are under 18, you may only use the Service with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use — specifically, to create, edit, and export resumes.

You may not:

• Sublicense, sell, resell, or commercially exploit the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Scrape or automate requests to the Service without written consent
• Use the Service to build a competing product

To access most features, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Providing accurate and current registration information
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these Terms.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload false, misleading, or fraudulent resume content
• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law
• Infringe the intellectual property rights of others
• Transmit malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Use automated tools to mass-generate or export resumes
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users or our staff

Violations may result in immediate account termination without refund.

You retain ownership of all resume content you create ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, and display that content solely to provide the Service to you.

We do not claim ownership of your resumes or use your personal career data for advertising.

You represent that your User Content does not violate any third-party rights and that you have the right to submit it.

All content, design, code, templates, and branding of ATS Resume Craft — excluding User Content — are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.

Resume templates provided by the Service are licensed for your personal use only. You may not redistribute, sell, or claim ownership of any template design.

The Service uses AI models (including third-party providers such as Anthropic) to generate resume content suggestions. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your specific situation
• You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before use
• Submitting resume content to AI features may involve processing by third-party model providers under their own privacy terms
• We do not guarantee any specific outcome (e.g., job offers, interview callbacks) from using AI suggestions

Our ATS scoring feature provides an estimate of how well your resume may perform against Applicant Tracking Systems. You acknowledge that:

• ATS systems vary widely by employer and version — no score guarantees compatibility with all systems
• Our scores are estimates and not endorsements of hiring outcomes
• We are not affiliated with any employer, recruiting platform, or ATS vendor

The Service integrates with or links to third-party services (Google OAuth, Razorpay, MongoDB Atlas, Anthropic). These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

Outbound links to job boards or career resources are provided for convenience. We do not endorse or assume responsibility for third-party content.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.

You may delete your account at any time from account settings. Upon termination:

• Your license to use the Service ends immediately
• Your User Content will be deleted within 30 days per our Privacy Policy
• Paid subscription fees already charged are non-refundable except where required by law

Sections 7, 12, 13, 14, and 15 survive termination.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. We do not guarantee that using the Service will result in employment or interview opportunities.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ₹500 INR.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ATS Resume Craft and its operators from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your User Content
• Your use of the Service in violation of applicable law
• Your infringement of any third-party rights

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will:

• Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
• Send an email notification to registered users
• Show an in-app notice for significant changes

Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

In accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, we have appointed a Grievance Officer:
